Hey everyone, happy new year! Maybe this decade i'll learn to be more active on my blog. Thanks for your continued support. As a material thank-you, I've decided to release a rough and early version of a game I've been writing in Ruby. This is the first game I've decided to release in any form for over two years, and I'm happy to finally get something out there again.
It's an unfinished product, and a shoddy little script – additionally, if you want to play the game you're going to need to compile it using a Ruby compiler. But if you're really interested, you can! Verruckt is a text-based fighting game featuring hundreds of possible randomly generated enemies, and a nuanced fighting system. Still a WIP though.

Well, I suppose an apology might be a good start. So...sorry. However, I feel like this most recent leave of absence may have been predicted by many. After all, it's not as if I stay active for long. But six months is a long time, so what in the hell could I possibly have been doing? Well, as you may have imagined, a school workload is not exactly forgiving of a student who tends to wander off and take part in various internet things. However, I have also been focusing my creative energy and drive to create elsewhere. Where else? Here: Yes, it's as bizarre as it looks.
This is Crisp'd. The concept is rather simple: a long, winding, bizarre story, told in individual chapters, released weekly. It's new and fresh...and bizarre is very much an understatement. From copious amounts of drugs and crime, to brutal gore and violence, to acid trips and literal descents into insanity, this comedic adventure is quite the rollercoaster. But I'm not here to advertise, I'm here to explain. Crisp'd is the foreseeable future for me, especially if it continues to pick up steam as it has. I hope that many of you will follow along on this journey. However, for those of you waiting on new games, I have one in the works. I'm attempting to develop a 3D game from scratch, using nothing but the base JavaFX 3D libraries...save me. Anyway, I hope that sees the like of day, but if not, we have Crisp'd to go forward on. I'd like to develop Crisp'd slowly into a large community of freaks and weirdos who have the same sense of humour as myself and the two friends with whom I started the site. Only time will tell, but our heads are held high, our fingers crossed, and our best feet forward. Thank you for continuing to check in on this site, every week, for so long. It means more than most can imagine. – Sincerely, your long-lost internet weirdo, Adrian (Boxingwolf) Lloyd I believe an apology is in order here...Sorry. I haven't been around at all. To those of you who still check in on the site every now and then, a huge thank you. You almost make me feel like I'm not that bad for leaving for a bit.
My little leave of absence was not planned. I lacked both content to produce, motivation to produce it, and willingness to write a blog post. Those of you who watch my twitter will know that I have tweeted a few times in the past few months. Others may be subscribed to my YouTube channel, and may know I have returned to that (kind of.) Most of you, however, will know that I only produce things that are worth producing. I have no desire to become a machine that churns out garbage every now and then, and then sits in the shadows waiting to strike once more. As such, it has taken me an exceptional amount of both experimentation and time to create all of two tracks to add to my discography. They will be released either tomorrow or in a couple days on all major services (notably now including YouTube Music,) as a Digital .45. I unfortunately no longer have an album to share. It was not great, to say the least. Maybe someday I'll release an album of remixed tracks that didn't make the cut on my albums. There are plenty of those. I have also been in my lab (room) writing things. I'm planning, designing, finalizing, organizing and executing. Also, I keep having these strange lapses of inspiration that end once I realize I have no genuine desire to follow through. I have one, long-winded plan that is in the process of being worked out. I will complete it, eventually. It's a big one though, so I'm letting it breathe (hint: it's been at the same phase of completion since September...and I'm still passionate.) Thanks for sticking around, if you're reading this. Hopefully will return soon with more to offer. Hello, everyone.
It's been very busy in my world lately, and I've just kind of been trying to take some time for myself. I have been working on some new music, and I have a few tracks ready for release. I'm very proud of these tracks, and once I finish some more, I'll release a new album. Other than that, I've been focusing on my future, and starting to explore the sciences, as that's where I plan to be later in life. I don't know what the near future holds for me outside of private life and schooling, but whatever it is will be shared with you soon. My final point is that I've rebranded Molten Media to Movement Media, and you can see that change now over on Minds.com. Thanks for keeping the site alive. Hopefully I can get active again very soon. Hey, everyone.
If you've been wondering where I've been (which you probably haven't been,) I've been busy with school and other "life stuff." However, I'm working on a number of new things, and I've redesigned a lot of the site as well. So, I'm not dead, I'm still working, and it's just been slow because of life. Thanks, have a good day! Hey everyone!
For those who are interested, I have made the "my projects" section of the site far more organized and neat. Everything has its own spot and everything is easy to see now (as it should have always been.) In addition, I have created a whole new site page for all my music, and all future music-related projects. It resembles the Games page that I recently revamped (which, by the way looks great in my opinion.) If you're interested, you should check it out and let me know what you think! I always appreciate the feedback. Thanks for the support as always! I'll post again sometime soon. My fourth record is here. For the first time since July of last year, I have put together an electronic music album. The Journey is an experience meant to be enjoyed front to back, taking the listener through a rollercoaster of sound. The Journey experiments with the Ambient and IDM genres, in a sharp twist from my original three albums. Fast-paced action and sharp-edged loops are replaced with airy leads and intricate but quiet synths. This is a new era. The Journey comes out tomorrow, April 2nd, 2018, but not on Bandcamp. Instead, it will release on Spotify, iTunes, Google Play, Deezer, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Pandora.*
I hope you enjoy this new record, as it is absolutely my best work. *Note: Some countries and/or services will receive the release a little later than this. P.S. No, this is not an April Fool's Day joke. P.P.S That album art is actually extremely high-res, it just looks grainy because it's on my site. 7,000 by 7,000 pixels = 49,000,000 total. Hello, everyone! Let's get to it.
1. New Electronic Music Today, I'm happy to announce I am putting the final touches on a new electronic record, my first since last July. I'm pushing in a totally new direction this time; a more thoughtful, fragile sound, paired with ambient noises and new instruments such as guitars. I'm taking a step away from the jarring, fast-paced, powerful sound of my original trilogy of albums, and towards a calmer, more intricate sound. The new album will be officially unveiled soon, but I have a few final changes to make first. 2. Molten Media Now, for something entirely new. Molten Media is a new project I'm in the process of starting up. Molten media is, as the page bio states, a bipartisan source for all things political. No slant, no bias, no monetary influence; just logical assessment and documentation. I'll be hosting a show called Chatterbox, wherein I will comment on political issues not from one perspective, but rather through logical assessment, and from a moral standpoint. In addition, I will post videos and articles to the page alongside other people like myself. I hope to shatter the mould, and make people think in a different way, as opposed to the traditional left- and right-wing perspective. I have created an account for the project over on Minds.com, and I can't wait to see you all there. Thanks, everyone! Hey everyone! I thought I'd finally post here again, because I realized I never actually made a New Year's post like I had planned, and I had some stuff to say anyway...
...So how are ya? Firstly, my most sincere condolences go out to anyone affected by the already long list of senseless demonstrations of terror and violence this year, such as the Florida High School Massacre, or any of the other 2018 school shootings thus far. I truly hope that over the coming years, we may come closer together as a society, and advance not our weapons of harm and destruction, but instead our species, and our collective intelligence. Next, the burning question: Where was I? Truthfully, I have just been so wrapped up in school and personal life, that I haven't had time to blog, I just needed to focus on what was close to me. I think I'm back now though, and I have some new stuff that's almost complete, so here's to that. Actually, speaking of which... The final topic of this post is what's next. While I don't anticipate another month-long drought of information, for all I know it could happen. January is only the second month since November of 2016 that I haven't posted once in (the other being September 2017.) I can assure you I am working hard on some new stuff, and I believe you'll all enjoy the result. So that's it! I hope you've all enjoyed reading this "where I'm at" style post, and I wish you all a (very) belated (very) Happy New Year. Here's to 2018! Well, the title says it all. After over a year of development, my biggest project to date is complete (kind of.) I will likely patch it in the near future, and I may release a feature or two down the road, but nothing major. Thanks for all the love and support.
